Questions & answers

Security camera questions, answered

Straight answers about All Wireless Security's surveillance systems. If yours isn't here, call or email Tom.

Can I watch my security cameras on my phone?

Yes. All Wireless Security says you can monitor its surveillance systems from any computer or wireless device, day or night. On a recorder-based system, the recorder is linked to a viewing app on your phone. It is worth checking live view on both Wi-Fi and cellular data before you sign off.

Does All Wireless Security install cameras for businesses as well as homes?

Yes. All Wireless Security works on both residential and commercial properties, for home and office.

What kinds of cameras can All Wireless Security set up?

The company's consultation options include wired cameras, cloud cameras and complete surveillance systems. It also offers the First Alert Pro VX1 HD video doorbell from Resideo. For a specific model or feature, ask Tom.

Can cameras cover a garage or outbuilding that has no network cable?

Often, yes. As general practice, a point-to-point wireless bridge can carry the camera network out to a separate building, such as a detached garage, barn or another building on the lot. The link needs a clear line of sight, and its signal strength should be tested when it is installed. Ask Tom whether it suits your property.

Does the video doorbell need a monthly plan?

Yes. For the First Alert Pro VX1 doorbell, All Wireless Security notes that a monthly storage plan and Total Connect service are required. Call for the current details.

Will security cameras lower my insurance?

They might. All Wireless Security notes that many insurance companies offer discounts to homeowners and business owners who install a video security system or burglar alarm. Ask your own insurer what it offers.

How much does a security camera system cost?

This website does not list prices because every property is different. All Wireless Security helps you work out which camera system suits your location and your budget. Call (440) 210-9900 to talk it through.
